As promised...

Where to begin??? The storage unit is empty, the house is a wreck, the yard is naked, and everybody is pleased as punch! And only one box missing to put the icing on the cake. Bring on the good times!

Merryn is developing quite the little personality. Uncle Dale appropriately refers to her as "Hammy". She is most definitely independent. Hmmm...wonder where she got that?!

Checking out her new "playhouse"...thanks to the builder for saving this box for us.

No boys allowed!!

She figured out how to mount her little bike pretty quickly...

stunt-woman style, that is!

And she LOOOOVES to put things around her neck: scarves, dish towels, dirty laundry, the dog collar. What a hoot!

And it is hard to believe that just over a month ago, miss Merryn turned 1. She was NOT impressed with cake and she was very suspicious when we lit the candle and sang to her. She really liked her balloons and ribbons though. Easy to please at this age!

And then... she discovered her baby...which must accompany her to many places.

Visiting the Seiben Ranch with MOPS. Grandma and Grandpa Trevithick joined us.

In case you ever wondered...this is how you get a baby really wound up right before bedtime...riding a bucking bronco while laughing like a hyena.

And so you may wonder as others ask, are we settled in? Little Merryn hands impede any stupendous efforts to put everything in their repective places. But we're having fun, so that's what counts!

And to top it off...she's walking! And so very proud of herself.

Spring is in the air!

We have been tempted to believe that spring has arrived...the sun shines, the temperatures approach 60, and the baby calves are frolicking. Alas! We do remember that it is the great state of Montana we have relocated to and that this elusive season is not quite a reality. We'll take the warm, sunny days meanwhile!

The good news is that our house in Idaho is under contract...for the third time. We are hoping that this is the charm! We are looking forward to moving into our own space...and we are sure that some other folks are looking forward to reclaiming their space that they have so generously shared with us for the last months. Merryn won't know what to do without them!

Merryn is nearly a year old and is so much fun! She has decided that she does indeed like food after all...mostly if it comes from the avocado food group that is. Ha ha! She clearly says daddy, kitty, and doggy. (There goes mommy's ego!) Anyway, just a few photos so that you can see just how the princess is growing.

Merryn on the Move

Merryn is exploring the world with all of her senses these days. Nothing and no one is exempt! She checks out all of the cupboards and drawers, parades after the dog and cat, helps clean, and attempts to crawl up on the dishwasher door to help with dishes. She walks along things and walks between things while holding on, but has only taken a few steps on her own which resulted in a tumble to the floor. She is a lot of fun!

Easy cheese is not on her menu of choice!

Helping sweep the floor.

Let's go outside, Mommy!

Her two top teeth are almost through!

"Organizing" her books...ha ha!

Learning to floss her 2 teeth with Aunt Marie.

Here we all are!

Follow the leader.

Sweetie Pie!

Trying to find a few Pike on Salmon Lake. The Lake Wolf won this round.

The Guide: Mr. Anthony Stack

The master perch whisperer: Cole Larson

Ice Fishing on Salmon Lake. Perch was the only fish on the menu. Mr. Cole Larson caught the most, but everybody caught a handful.

Global Warming in Montana? Return of the Dinosaurs. We only wish. Merryn Loved her tour of the Museum of the Rockies. Most of the exhibits were found in Montana, but a few from Wyoming as well. You can't short the Cowboy State!

Peek a Boo through the Eyes of the Dino!

Working on walking tall like these Darn Dinos!

Meeting Cousin Donovan

She really was quite impressed with Austin as well. And he was happy to entertain her.
