Fire Update

Fortunately, all evacuation and notices have been lifted for the Chimney Complex fire. Early on, it did jump containment lines and was within 2-3 miles of our house. It is likely the fire will continue to burn until fall/winter weather puts it out. Our living room is no longer cluttered with a stack of important items in the case of a hasty exit. Living in the area that we do, we expect circumstances like this on the occasion. We are glad for the efforts to keep this fire from impacting too many folks or their homes. The air has turned crisp and fall is quickly approaching!
