Portland

What an adventure! Seth and I traveled to Portland to attend a GIS Training. Thankfully, we left Lewiston mid afternoon as we encountered incredibly icy roads between Hermiston and the Gorge. There were plenty of vehicles on their tops and their sides. Two other couples that we work with also attended the training. It was fun to check out the local flavor! We tried out some different restaurants, which by the way, Seth is not impressed with sushi. We dined at this great Cajun restaurant that sculpts your leftovers in foil. Seth got a hammerhead shark and I got a swan. (Are those figures significant??!) We cheered on the Blazers at a home game in the Rose Garden and visited a local sanctuary with our friends Dale and Kari for a holiday light display and concert.

Morgan and the flaccid 'gator.

Seth and the hammerhead shark.

Nate and the cephalapod.

Amanda and the graceful swan.
